You did not explain your reasoning.....
Let me put it this way.......please explain how impeaching bush would improve the challenges "we the people" face with the out of control power we have provided our government.
Impeachment of bush would leave us with Cheney?.......is this an improvement? I should say not! In another forum someone commented that it is too late for impeachment......I agree with this...it seems to me that impeachment would just be an act of revenge against a man who is probably nothing more than a puppet at best!
I understand the anger that resides inside some Americans regarding bush & the rest of his administration, we want to make him pay for what he & his terrorist cronies have done in the name of our once great country...but we can not allow ourselves to waste precious time & resources on actions that will not ultimately solve the challenges both present & future, that we face as a nation where our government & its warped & twisted sense of power & dominance is concerned. Americans for too long have been content with band aiding the wounds we suffer at the hands of our government instead of addressing, understanding & resolving/removing the root causes of them. Ask yourself what kind of future you want for your country, for your children, grandchildren & theirs? Will impeaching bush really make a difference? Or will it only serve to further distract you & the American people from the root causes that allowed him & those that have come before him to wreak havoc with & twist & warp our country & our relationships with the international community.
Impeachment will not resolve/remove the root causes of this most challenging time in the history of our great land. Impeachment will only make room for the next in line to carry on the work. Is that the future you wish to create? If we want to improve our international relations then as Remy said, we must stop killing their people, threatening their ways of existence & forcing our christian beliefs upon them. We must respect their unique cultural differences, offer assistance to those in need when it does not conflict with our own national principles & invite & encourage global social equality, understanding, tolerance & sharing. To do this we must remove those that will not carry out such goals & replace them with those that will. those that will do not currently serve in any branch of our government, therefore will will need to start from scratch and create an entirely new form of government that provides for & protects universal social equality, & individual rights to personal freedom above all else it does.
Read the introduction to the Declaration of Independence. Thomas Jefferson understood that at some point in the future of the government they were creating it would be necessary for the people to take things into their own hands once again, dissolve their connections to the current form & take on the ultimate citizen responsibility of reforming our government to meet the needs of the future of the human species & the American existence. That time has come & only those who are willing to do so, as he and his compatriots did, will realize a future free of the oppression, deception & slavery we are experiencing now. Will it be perfect?....Oh far from it most likely, but if we apply the lessons our history provides us, it will be a far better option than the ones we are being offered now.
